Terms & Refunds
Last updated: June 2026These terms cover ordering from Bran's Butcher. They're short on purpose — we'd rather you read them than skip them.
1. Placing an order
Clicking "Send Order via WhatsApp" sends your cart contents and delivery details to our WhatsApp. That message is an order request, not a confirmed sale. We'll reply to confirm:
- The items are available and can be cut today;
- The final delivery fee (based on actual Lalamove rate for your address);
- The total amount to pay and how to pay it.
Your order is confirmed when we reply with the final total. You can cancel at no charge any time before that.
2. Pricing & availability
Prices on the site are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and inclusive of all applicable taxes. Stock is limited and cut to order — if we've sold out of something for the day, we'll let you know and refund or swap as you prefer.
3. Cut-off & delivery
- Orders placed before 6pm are dispatched the same day.
- Delivery is fulfilled by Lalamove. The fee shown at checkout is an estimate based on straight-line distance; the actual charge is confirmed when we book the rider.
- Please allow 2–3 hours of grace time on your preferred slot. Rider availability varies, and we'd rather get your cuts to you in perfect condition than rushed.
- You're responsible for being available to receive the order or arranging a safe drop-off spot. Cuts left unattended in heat are at your risk.
4. Payment
We currently accept payment via DuitNow / bank transfer. We'll share the account details when we confirm your order. Payment is due before the rider is dispatched.
5. Returns & refunds
Because meat is a perishable product, we don't accept returns on cuts that have been delivered in good condition. We will, however, fully refund or replace any order if:
- The wrong item was sent;
- The product arrived damaged or with a temperature breach (e.g. broken seal, no longer chilled);
- You can show, with a photo within 24 hours of delivery, that there's a quality issue.

6. Cancellations
You can cancel for free any time before we confirm your order. Once the cuts have been butchered for you (typically within 30 minutes of confirmation), we can't reverse it — but we'll always try to make it right if there's a genuine problem.
7. Liability
Our liability for any single order is limited to the value of that order. We're not liable for delays caused by the courier, force majeure, or events outside our control.
